So what do we reckon this clumper Is ??

Hi there,
It could well be Bambusa mltiplex alphonse karr. But I'm surprised to find it so south.
A couple of closer up photos would help enormously, especially if there are any shoots at the moment.

I took the picture in June, it was freezing cold, pretty surprised to find a clumper this far south and so big and happy, I didn't get a close up - duh!
I don't think its alphonse karr, it might be another mulitplex but its so upright and tall, its not the ordinary green form anyway.
